- Available in three sizes, with capacities of 2.7kW (CL/CLX30), 4.4kW (CL/CLX50)
and 6.5kW (CL/CLX70), the indoor unit can be wall or ceiling mounted, saving valuable
cellar floor space. Long pipe runs are possible between the internal and external
units of up to 50m on the CL/CLX30, including 6m lift, and 80m on the CL/CLX50
and CL/CLX70, including 20m lift (equivelent lengths), enabling optimal siting
of the outdoor unit - including at high level for added security.

- All units incorporate a new spider mounting, designed for easy fan and motor
installation and removal.
- Its stainless steel cabinet facilitates cleaning, and the unit is suitable
for hsoing down during maintenance to remove moulds which can readily form in
cellar conditions.
- The grille is also manufactured from stainless steel to eliminate rust. Similarly,
external screw fittings are stainless steel.
- The unit has a six fins-per-inch brewery-specification heat exchanger.
- Pipe access and electrics access panels are larger and require fewer screws
to ensure easier access for installation and maintenance.
- Pipework can enter/exit from the rear, top or bottom.
- Rounded front corners on the cabinet and on the drain tray enhance operator
safety. The drain tray is made of 5mm ABS plastic, is a corrosion resistant alternative
to aluminium.
- A drip catcher is incorporated into the drain tray, and the drain stub is
a standard 22mm OD fitting for connection to copper, plastic or flexible hose
(3/4 ID converter also included).
- The unit controls temperatures down to 10 degrees C, or (where a de-ice stat
is fitted) to 8 degrees C. The de-ice stat prevents significant ice build up and
is available as a factory option.
- The plastic covered waterproof power switch has been retained as a further
safety feature.
- Steel wire armoured (SWA) cable access is now available direct into the electrics
box - or can be via the unit to the electrics box where this is more suitable.

- An easy to install electric heater kit is offered as an option to maintain
temperatores all-year-round - important where cask-conditioned ales are stored.
The heater is mounted on a stainless steel inlet/grille and is integral to the
unit. It can be either factory or field fitted.
- CL/CLX units provide air throws of up to ten metres.
- CL/CLX units are delivered in newly-designed packaging for added protection.
- The low-noice, weatherproof outdoor condenser units incorporate low pressure
switch and low ambient start as standard. Options include high pressure switch,
isolator (for remote mounting) and wall mounting brackets.
- The external MCU+ condenser units are factory charged with R407C refrigerant.
- Expansion device can remain on outdoor unit or can be easily fitted to indoor
unit.
- CL/CLX units are also suitable for wine cellars, and extending the life of
perishable goods such as chocolates, flowers and fresh produce
